Our organization was begun in 1944. We are registered with the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation & Licensing, and the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin. We are an organization that is exempt from the state “No Call ” list, according to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. We are an organization that is not in competition with other Law Enforcement Organizations. We do not do labor negotiations or provide legal council for our membership. Rather, we focus on lobbying for laws that will help us, as deputy sheriff’s do a better job of serving the communities in which we work.

We remain the only organization that is made up of, and run by, “line personnel”. Sheriff’s may hold honorary membership in this organization but the board of directors is held exclusively by the men and women who work the street!
