Scholarship Recipients


Tiffany graduated from Luxemburg-Casco High School in 2003 She enjoyed the Ski Club, DECA and FBLA and was on the Honor Roll her senior year. Tiffany wilt be attending Northeast Wisconsin Technical College In pursuit of a degree in Accounting. Steven Gilray, a member of the Kewaunee County Sheriffs Department for ten years, is her father.

Tara L Cochart
Kewaunee, WI

Tare graduated in 2003 from Kewaunee High School. She enjoys sports arid participated track, basketball and volleyball. She also was in the Art Club and made the Honor Roll during her Freshman, Sophomore and Senior years. Tara’s goal of becoming a Registered Nurse will begin by attending UW-Manitowoc and then UW-Green Bay, followed by training at the Berlin College of Nursing in Green Bay. Her father, Bruce Cochart has been a member of the Kewaunee County Sheriffs Department since 1986.

Ashley Pucker
Eldorado, WI

Ashley graduated from Laconia High School in 2000, where she was on the honor roll every year. She participated in forensics, band, softball, volleyball and weight club. She is currently a student at UW-Green Bay, studying Human Relations and Psychology. Her father, Gary Pucker, has been in law enforcement for 22 years and is currently Sheriff of Fond du Lac County.

Alissa Wierenga
Delavan, WI

Alissa graduated from Delavan-Darien High School in 2003. Among her achievements were receiving her academic letter and being on the honor roll. She participated in track and Project M.O.S.T. and in her spare time she ran a dog boarding business with her twin sister Vanessa. Alissa will be striving to become a Registered Nurse at Clarke College. Alissa is the daughter of Robert Wierenga, Wisconsin County Police Association President, and Canine Handler at the Walworth County Sheriffs Department.

Vanessa Wierenga
Delavan, WI

Vanessa graduated from Delavan-Darien High School in 2003. Vanessa was a member of the National Honor Society and enjoyed participating in Track and Field. Vanessa runs a dog boarding business with her twin sister Alissa. Vanessa’s goal of being a primary education teacher will start off by attending Clarke College. Vanessa is the daughter of Robert Wierenga, Wisconsin County Police Association President, and Canine Handler at the Walworth County Sheriffs Department.
